Service Description

This fun camp is designed to introduce kids ages 10-12 to the love of horses. Campers will learn many basics of how to care for horses. They will groom, tack, and learn how to lead a horse with safety being a big part of the instruction. Each camper will also have a ride on a horse that will be led by their instructor. Kids will have a ball creating a craft, playing games, and engaging in ground based activities with the horses. Parents are welcome to stay with their child. Campers must wear appropriate shoes such as hiking boots or riding boots (must be closed toe shoes; no sandals or flip-flops) as well as long pants. Helmets are provided by Forest Meadow Ranch for the campers and must be worn during the riding portion. Ages 10-12 yrs old. Maximum number of kids is 6. Cost: $60 Cancellation Policy: Please note that we are holding a spot for you so reservations for this event are nonrefundable. If you are unable to attend you can transfer your reservation to a friend. All activities are outdoors, and we will only reschedule if severe weather is predicted. Cancellations due to severe weather will be emailed to participants.
